The Experience
What Awaits You in the Okavango
Eight nights in one of Africa's most extraordinary ecosystems — the Okavango Delta at full flood. Mokoro through papyrus channels, track lions at dawn, and watch elephants cross the floodplains — all with two professional photographers guiding every moment.
Botswana is unlike anywhere else on earth. The camps sit inside private concessions — no other tourists can enter the area — and in July, the Okavango Delta reaches full flood. Channels and lagoons fill, islands emerge, and wildlife concentrates on every shoreline. We fly in by light aircraft, photograph elephants and lions on game drives through country most people will never see, and pole silently through papyrus channels in traditional mokoro dugout canoes — close enough to look elephants in the eye from the water. This is the real Africa.
Whether you've never picked up a long lens or you've been shooting wildlife for years, you'll come home with images that stop people in their tracks — and a story you'll be telling for the rest of your life.
Expert Tuition
Two pro photographers with you on every game drive and water excursion — from exposure settings to composition to editing workflow.
Elephant Country
Botswana has the largest elephant population on earth. The Okavango Delta and Gomoti region are also prime territory for lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, and hippo.
Eye-Level with Elephants
Pole silently through the flooded Delta in a traditional mokoro dugout canoe. In July, the water is high, the channels are full, and elephants wade right past you. There is nowhere else on earth quite like it.
Not Just for Photographers
You don't need a big camera to have the time of your life. Past guests have included partners, friends, and first-timers shooting on nothing more than an iPhone — and they've had an absolute blast. This is a wildlife adventure first, with world-class photography guidance built in for those who want it.
A Personal Invitation
Hear It From Brent
I've been running these safaris since 2019 and every single time, people tell me it's the best trip of their life. Not just because of the incredible wildlife — but because of the people, the laughs around the campfire, and those moments when you nail a shot you never thought possible.
This is my favourite thing I do. And I'd love you to experience it. Brent Mail.

Three Unforgettable Stops. Eight Days of Pure Africa.

Elephant Pan, Okavango Delta
Okavango Delta · Natural Selection
After an arrival night in Johannesburg, we fly into the heart of the Okavango Delta — one of the most extraordinary ecosystems on earth. Elephant Pan is a classic Natural Selection camp set in the permanent Delta floodplains, surrounded by papyrus channels, African ebony forests, and open lagoons. Game viewing here is world-class: elephant herds passing through camp, lions and leopards in the surrounding mopane, and mokoro excursions at golden hour that produce images like nowhere else on earth.

Gomoti Plains
South of the Okavango Delta · Machaba Safaris
From the Delta we fly south to Gomoti Plains — an eco-luxury tented camp on the edge of the Gomoti River system in a remote private concession south of the Okavango. This area is famous for some of Botswana's finest big cat sightings: lion, leopard and cheetah move freely through the acacia and leadwood, while the riverine environment draws elephant herds year-round. The eco-luxury tents are spacious and beautifully appointed — a stunning base for early morning and late afternoon game drives with your own private vehicle.
