  • used a tripod
  • long exposure
  • nice and smooth water in the foreground
  • typical Chinese Architecture

Best way to go to the Forbidden City:

  • get there early when it opens at 9 in the morning
  • the place is relatively empty for a couple of hours
  • later on the day it’ll be filled with people

Equipment used:

  • Fujifilm XT1
  • 18 mm lens
  • carbon fiber tripod
  • 2-3 minute long exposure
  • F8 or F11 aperture

The best 2 travel lenses you can travel with

1. 14 mm F2.8 lens

  • Around 21 mm in focal length
  • Wide angle for getting landscape and scene

2. 35 mm F1.4 lens

  • Around 21 mm in focal length
  • The standard lens for full framed like portrait
  • Great lens for street photography
